Melania Trump recently called for survivors to testify publicly, rejecting claims linking her to Epstein and urging Congress to allow more open hearings, according to a report by AlterNet.

In response to questions, Trump referred to Epstein’s victims as “victims or whatever” and suggested they had “refused to go under oath,” a claim for which there is no supporting evidence.

Survivors and advocates pushed back, noting that many victims have already filed criminal complaints and testified in court, demonstrating what they described as “extraordinary courage.”

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee said they have repeatedly requested hearings, including testimony from senior Justice Department officials, but have not received responses.
