After a late-night negotiation to win over GOP holdouts, the Senate narrowly passed President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, with Vice President J.D. Vance casting the tie-breaking vote, Forbes Daily's Danielle Chemtob reported.

Republicans argue the cuts are designed to reduce fraud and inefficiency, with much of the savings stemming from new work requirements for Medicaid recipients.
Key revisions to the bill include softened rollbacks of wind and solar tax credits and increased funding for rural hospitals. The House is expected to vote on the Senate version.
The legislation includes over $1 trillion in Medicaid cuts over the next decade and significant changes to other federally funded health programs.
According to the Congressional Budget Office, the changes would result in nearly 12 million Americans losing health coverage.
Republicans argue the cuts are designed to reduce fraud and inefficiency, with much of the savings stemming from new work requirements for Medicaid recipients.
Critics, however, warn of devastating consequences for low-income families, the disabled, and vulnerable populations who depend on the program for essential care.
