TRUMP WON’T ATTEND BIDEN’S INAUGURATION

Defeated US President Donald Trump said that he will not be attending President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) reported

"To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th," Trump wrote on Twitter.

The announcement comes as some lawmakers in Congress debate whether to bring articles of impeachment to the House of Representatives for a vote after pro-Trump rioters stormed the US Capitol Building on Wednesday or not.

Trump admitted that Biden had won and vowed a smooth transfer of power on January 20 after the riot he had instigated at the US Capitol led to the deaths of five people, including a Capitol policeman.
