Speaking at a diplomacy forum, Fidan said Israeli policies pose broader regional and international risks. Turkish officials have repeatedly characterized Israeli military operations in Gaza, Iran, Lebanon, and Syria as expansionist.

Fidan also criticized defense cooperation agreements between Israel, Greece, and Cyprus, describing them as aligned against Muslim-majority countries in the region.
