The U.S. has suspended implementation of the “technology prosperity deal” with the United Kingdom after expressing frustration over London’s lack of progress, the Financial Times reported.

The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in areas such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
Meanwhile, Democrats estimate that U.S. households have paid roughly $1,200 on average in additional costs due to tariffs, following President Trump’s acknowledgment that Americans are bearing some of the burden.
In related trade news, Indonesia hopes to finalize its deal with the U.S. by year-end, though reports indicate the agreement was at risk due to Indonesia’s failure to fulfill obligations on its side.
