The attack on the Shajare Tayyebe Girls’ School in Minab, near an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) base, was the deadliest incident since strikes began, killing more than 150 people.

Other Iranian officials put the death toll at 185.

Pir Hossein Kolivand, president of Iran’s Red Crescent, claimed a “high percentage” of US-Israeli targets were civilian sites, including schools, hospitals, aid bases, and sports stadiums.

Reportedly, 3,643 civilian centers in Iran have been damaged in strikes, according to the Red Crescent, including 3,090 residential homes, 528 commercial and service centers, 14 medical centers, and nine Red Crescent facilities.

The first British evacuees have landed back in the UK after the government’s first charter flight from the Middle East finally made the journey.

Many of the more than 140,000 Britons who registered their presence in the Middle East with the Foreign Office have accused the government of ignoring their plight.

The prime minister, who has already been criticized for moving too slowly in response to the conflict, said on Wednesday: “I want to be very clear. This is a huge undertaking. It’s one of the biggest operations of its kind — bigger than the evacuation in Afghanistan. It’s not going to happen overnight, but we will not stop until our people are safe.”

Iranians said the US and Israel should bankroll the evacuation of foreign nationals from the Middle East since they started the war.
