The Trump administration has revoked humanitarian parole for a 4-year-old Mexican girl receiving lifesaving treatment at a California hospital, Associated Press' Amy Taxin reported.

Lawyers for the family said the girl, who suffers from short bowel syndrome and relies on IV nutrition delivered via a wearable backpack, cannot survive without her current care.
The treatment is unavailable in Mexico. Her mother was notified in April and May that the family’s 2023 humanitarian parole had been rescinded, and they were now subject to possible deportation.
“Doctors have been clear that she will die within days” without access to the treatment, said Gina Amato, lead attorney with Public Counsel’s Immigrants’ Rights Project.
Attorneys have submitted a new application for humanitarian parole and asked U.S. officials to reconsider, but they have not received a response.
