Venezuelan ambassador to the United Nations Samuel Moncada claimed on Wednesday (Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Manila) that the massacres in Colombia are a bloody political tradition to conquer spaces of power.

On his Twitter account, the Venezuelan diplomat exposes how the dominant party in Colombia is made up of politicians linked to narco-paramilitarism, Prensa Latina reported.

Moncada stressed the attempts by the Ivan Duque Government to impose paradigms of violence in Venezuela and added “its massacre chiefs are acting as ambassadors tasked with exporting this model of conquest to Venezuela.”

He also attached an article from Mision Verdad website, in which the US participation in the frustrated military intervention in this country in May was also explained. The Mision Verdad website, dedicated to investigative journalism, dismantles Washington's involvement in this action in five steps, on the basis of documents and testimonies presented at the time by the Venezuelan executive.
