Wall Street is heading into what could be its most consequential week of 2026, with investors focused on Federal Reserve policy, corporate earnings, and key economic data, Barron's Daily reported.

Improving sentiment has been supported by a third consecutive night without major hostilities in the U.S.-Iran conflict and renewed diplomatic efforts between the two countries.
Brent crude oil has retreated below $90 per barrel, about 14% below last week's peak, easing inflation concerns and helping lower Treasury yields.
Investors are also scaling back expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate hike ahead of Wednesday's policy announcement. The week will feature earnings reports from approximately 175 companies, representing roughly 35% of the S&P 500, making it one of the busiest reporting periods of the year.
