Water regulatory bodies like the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA), Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS), and the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) implement programs to secure water supply amid the El NiƱo season nationwide.

To mitigate electricity price hikes, the government advocates for distribution utilities' participation in the Anti-Bill Shock Program.

This initiative enables electric cooperatives to stagger rate adjustments, shielding end-users from sudden increases in electricity rates.

Additionally, the Lifeline Rate Subsidy Program, effective since January 2024, offers eligible consumers a 100% discount on monthly bills, ensuring the marginalized sector is shielded from the impact of high electricity prices.
