Ukraine's Warplanes Hit 22 Russian Targets In A Day

Ukraine’s air force has struck three Russian air defense missile system position while artillery units destroyed an enemy ammunition depot in the south, Ukrinform reported.

Enemy ammunition depots in the Zaporizhzhia region were also blasted on Oct. 29, 2022. Russian personnel clusters were struck, with five pieces of military equipment were burned. Intercepted Russians lost communications confirmed that 30 Russian soldiers were killed and about 100 wounded.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched 22 strikes, hitting 19 enemy ammunition and military equipment clusters, and three air defense missile system positions.

The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down two Orlan-10 UAVs and six Shahed-136 UCAVs across different directions.

"On Nov. 1 in the Donetsk region, an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Command East shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter and an operational and tactical UAV at 9 a.m. and at noon, respectively," the command reported.

In the early hours of Nov. 1, air defense units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down six Iranian-made Shahed-136 UAVs.
