Afni Expands Philippine Presence With Inauguration Of Third Office In Laguna

Afni, a prominent U.S.-based business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, has inaugurated its newest office in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, marking its third establishment in the Philippines.

The new office, strategically positioned adjacent to SM City Santa Rosa, aims to accommodate 3,000 positions and is slated for full occupancy within the current year.


Catering to diverse overseas clients across industries such as insurance, financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, fitness, and media, Afni's expansion underscores its commitment to leveraging local talent and fostering economic growth in Laguna and its surrounding areas.



Khalid Khursheed, Senior Vice President and Country Manager of Afni Philippines, emphasized the significance of the new site in Santa Rosa, highlighting its accessibility, abundant talent pool, and robust infrastructure as key factors driving the selection of the location.


Khursheed also emphasized Afni's proactive approach to alleviating traffic congestion by establishing offices outside of Metro Manila.



Santa Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas commended Afni's decision to establish its new office in the city, further solidifying its position as an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) hub in Southern Luzon.


She highlighted the diverse job opportunities offered by Afni Santa Rosa, spanning technical support, customer relations, human resources, administration, and managerial roles.



The Santa Rosa office, spanning over 9,400 square feet across multiple floors, boasts modern amenities, sleeping quarters, and an arcade/game room under construction - all aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and productivity.


Melanie Lara, Afni Philippines Senior Director for Human Resources, emphasized the company's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all ages and abilities to join their workforce.



Lara also announced Afni's plans to open its fourth office in the country by 2026, with Roxas City or Cagayan de Oro City being considered as potential locations.


Since its establishment in 2012, Afni's presence in the Philippines has witnessed significant growth, initially starting with 80 to 100 hires per month and expanding to 250 to 300 recruits per week.



This expansion underscores Afni's continued investment in the Philippines' BPO sector and its dedication to fostering local talent and economic development.
