Albertsons Companies has recalled several of its store-made deli products because they may be contaminated with listeria bacteria, the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The Boise, Idaho-based supermarket chain said Saturday it was pulling five deli items because they contain a recalled bowtie pasta ingredient made by Nate’s Fine Foods.
The affected items were distributed by Fresh Creative Foods.
Albertsons is urging consumers not to eat the products and to either throw them away or return them to local stores for a full refund.
The recall covers certain basil pesto pasta salads and other pasta dishes with chicken, spinach, and similar ingredients.
Shoppers can check product names, “sell through” dates, and other identifying details on Albertsons’ website to see if their purchase is affected. The recalled items were sold at Albertsons-owned banners including Albertsons Market, Safeway, and Vons across more than a dozen states.
