The strike was organized by the "Amazon delivery workers' union Nagasaki branch" of the Tokyo Union after Amazon Japan's primary subcontractor in Yokohama failed to respond to their requests for continuous work.
Around 20 delivery workers gathered at the Nagasaki prefectural labor welfare hall to protest.
The workers, operating as sole proprietors under a secondary subcontractor based in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture, demanded collective bargaining with the primary subcontractor to ensure continuous work.
