The company is partnering with sports and entertainment company AEG to develop a vertiport at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles, adjacent to Crypto.com Arena, where the Lakers play.

Archer and AEG announced an exclusive, multiyear partnership for the facility.

Archer plans to eventually expand its service to other cities, including New York, according to CEO and co-founder Adam Goldstein.

The company's Midnight aircraft is designed to carry four passengers and travel up to 100 miles. Archer is the official air-taxi provider for LA28 and Team USA, making the planned downtown vertiport part of its preparations for the 2028 Games.
