Cheesecake Factory Shares Jump 14% After Record Quarterly Revenue

Shares of The Cheesecake Factory surged nearly 14 percent after the restaurant chain reported quarterly revenue exceeding US$1 billion for the first time, Danielle Chemtob reported for Forbes.

The company delivered stronger-than-expected earnings despite broader signs that consumers are cutting back on discretionary spending, including dining out.


The earnings report also boosted the estimated net worth of founder and Chief Executive Officer David Overton, whose fortune is valued at more than US$300 million.



The Cheesecake Factory reported continued growth in customer traffic while many competing restaurant chains experienced declines. The company also plans to open 26 new locations during fiscal year 2026.
