China's Top Diplomat Tells Foreign Firms: You're Free To Do Business

At a meeting in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said Beijing will continue to provide a better business environment for foreign companies, including US firms, even as state security forces had raided US business research and consulting firms operating in China.

He called on Washington to stop trying to “contain” China and lectured that Beijing remains committed to a “healthy, stable and constructive” relationship with the US amid still “chilly” bilateral ties, Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang told visiting American business leaders, Wendy Wu reported for South China Morning Post (SCMP).



At a meeting with US trade organizations and business representatives in Beijing, Qin assured his audience that China will continue to build a better business environment for foreign companies from all countries, including the US, and welcome the expansion of investments in China.
