As the company's best-selling SR Series and Vision Jet continue to see increased orders, this expansion is a natural next step. The paint and finish facility has undergone an expansion totaling 86,000 square feet.
This newly added square footage at the Paint and Finish Facility increases the site's capacity to spray paint on airplanes by 35%.
Cirrus Aircraft has earned a reputation for producing aircraft with superior paint quality and some of the most eye-catching and innovative paint schemes in the business.
There are now 130 people working at the Paint and Finish Facility for Cirrus Aircraft. As a result of this growth, the firm aims to add 50 new employees to its Campus. Since 2018, Cirrus Aircraft has been recognized as Duluth's Best Large Employer because of the company's generous compensation and benefits package.
Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus Aircraft, commented on the expansion of the company's Paint and Finish Facility, highlighting that ‘investments allow the company to both meet the increasing demand for its leading-edge aircraft and create additional jobs in our local communities.’
Cirrus Paint and Finish Facility officially commenced operations last July 15, 2022.
