EU Boosts European Peace Fund By $3.8-B

The Council of the European Union (CEU) announced recently the decision to increase the financial ceiling of the European Peace Facility (EPF) by 3.5 billion euros ($3.8 billion), Kyiv Independent reported.

The US is planning to craft a new package of military aid for Ukraine worth $500 million, Reuters reported, as Ukraine advances on practically all fronts against Russian invaders.
At the same time, the White House said sanctions against leaders of the Wagner Group will continue. US National Security Council (NSC) spokesman John Kirby said sanctions against the Wagner led by Yevgeny Prigozhin will not stop.
The Australian government announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth 110 million Australian dollars (about $74 million), which includes both military and humanitarian assistance, The Guardian reported.
The Bulgarian government also approved another military aid package for Ukraine despite opposition from the country's president. The press service of Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers announced the aid package on its website.
