Filinvest REIT Hails New Zealand Prime Minister's Visit To Alabang-Located NZ Firm

Filinvest Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) Corp., also referred to as FILRT, has hailed the recent visit of New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon to one of Filinvest's tenants in Muntinlupa City, Building Engineering and Design Co. (BEDC), headquartered in Auckland, NZ.

Prime Minister Luxon, on the sidelines of his recently concluded official visit to the Philippines, visited BEDC at the Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest City in Alabang, and commended the firm for its successful establishment of office and business operations there as another proof of the thriving partnership between New Zealand and the Philippines.

Northgate Cyberzone, strategically situated at the gateway to the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon (CALABARZON) region, is an IT-BPO campus-style hub and a key center of productivity where majority of the Grade A, sustainable office buildings under the FILRT portfolio are located, including Filinvest Two, where BEDC’s operations are located.

FILRT emphasized that Filinvest Two is a certified Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies (EDGE) building that is 100% powered by renewable energy.

BEDC moved to Northgate Cyberzone in March 2023, securing 1,723.55 square meters of office space. Since then, the company has grown from 40 to an impressive 400 employees.

The new facility, slated for completion by August 2024, is envisioned to further solidify BEDC's global presence, with its commitment to excellence in engineering and design services.
