As communities across the Philippines become increasingly dependent on digital access for work, education, livelihoods, and essential services, Globe continues to strengthen the foundations that keep people connected while building a more resilient and sustainable future.

Through its 2025 Integrated Report, Globe highlights how investments in network modernization, climate action, operational efficiency, and innovation are creating long-term value not only for the business but also for the communities it serves.
Entitled "Foundations for the Future: Building Resilience Through a Connected Nation," the report demonstrates how Globe is embedding sustainability into its long-term strategy as it expands network coverage, improves affordability, and strengthens operational resilience amid evolving climate and business risks.
It also reflects the company's continued efforts to align with emerging global sustainability disclosure standards while advancing meaningful environmental and social impact.
Building Long-Term Resilience Through Connectivity
For many Filipinos, connectivity now extends beyond convenience.
Reliable mobile and internet access helps families stay connected, supports online learning, enables small businesses to grow, and provides communities—especially those in geographically isolated areas—with access to emergency information and digital services.
To advance digital inclusion, Globe expanded its 4G coverage to 96.41 percent of the Philippine population in 2025 while continuing to improve network access in underserved communities.
Alongside broader coverage, the company introduced affordability initiatives to make connectivity more accessible.
Between 2019 and 2025, the cost per gigabyte of Globe's most popular mobile data plans fell by nearly 60 percent, including a further 17 percent reduction from 2024 to 2025.
For home connectivity, prepaid fiber rates declined by 50 percent between 2022 and 2024, while the entry-level postpaid fiber plan became 75 percent more affordable.
Customers now receive internet speeds four times faster than those offered at the same price in 2022.
As digital access becomes increasingly essential, Globe continues investing in future-ready infrastructure while expanding digital literacy and cybersecurity initiatives to help Filipinos participate safely and confidently in the digital economy.
Advancing Climate Action and Operational Efficiency
Globe also strengthened its climate initiatives as part of its long-term resilience strategy.
The company reported a 15 percent year-on-year reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions and a 9 percent reduction in Scope 3 emissions in 2025, surpassing its annual reduction targets.
Renewable energy now accounts for 34 percent of Globe's total energy consumption, keeping the company on track to achieve its target of 42 percent renewable energy usage by 2030.
These initiatives support Globe's efforts to build a more resilient network while advancing its decarburization roadmap.
Strengthening Transparency and Sustainability Readiness
The report also highlights Globe's efforts to strengthen sustainability governance and disclosure practices.
The company has begun aligning its reporting with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards, particularly IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures.
Globe's Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, Yoly Crisanto, now serves as the Management Association of the Philippines representative to the Philippine Sustainability Reporting Council (PSRC), which develops local guidance on sustainability reporting standards.
The Integrated Report includes externally assured environmental and social performance metrics, independently verified greenhouse gas emissions data, and the company's first Double Materiality Assessment, which evaluates both the impact of environmental and social issues on Globe's operations and the company's impact on society and the environment.
"Our responsibility goes beyond delivering connectivity. As digital access becomes more essential in people's everyday lives, we need to ensure that the way we grow our business also strengthens resilience, creates long-term value, and contributes positively to communities and the environment," Crisanto said.
"Sustainability helps guide how we operate and innovate so we can continue serving Filipinos responsibly while preparing the business for the future."
