Globe continues to expand its nationwide mobile coverage as part of its long-term commitment to digital inclusion.

As of November 2025, Globe’s mobile network now reaches 96.33 percent of the Philippine population, reflecting sustained investments in network infrastructure and strategic collaboration with national and local stakeholders.
Despite this progress, around 4 million individuals — equivalent to 3.67 percent of the population — remain in areas with little to no mobile signal, mostly in geographically isolated and far-flung communities.
Globe projects further expansion as it continues to activate new sites, upgrade existing ones, and work with national and local government units to enable faster and more targeted deployment.
“Connectivity has become a basic need. For those still waiting to be reached, it’s a lifeline that opens doors to work, learning, financial access, and public services,” said Globe President and CEO Carl Cruz.
“We’re committed to supporting the government’s Konektadong Pinoy agenda and are actively working to close the remaining coverage gaps. We believe that by coming together, we can make universal digital access a reality.”
The company has identified areas where less than 50 percent of the local population currently has mobile coverage.
These towns are being prioritized as key expansion targets based on feasibility, projected impact, and coordination with relevant agencies. Many are island municipalities or remote mountain regions that require tailored connectivity solutions.
The expanded mobile footprint supports the continued growth of Globe’s mobile data business, which reached a record ₱25.2 billion in revenues in the third quarter of 2025.
The company now serves 63.1 million mobile subscribers nationwide, with mobile data accounting for 86 percent of total mobile service revenues.
Globe’s ongoing investments include more than a thousand new cell sites and extensive 5G upgrades, enabling it to keep pace with the growing digital needs of households, schools, and businesses across the country.
As more Filipinos rely on mobile connectivity for livelihoods, education, commerce, and communication, Globe remains committed to building a future where no one is left offline.
The company continues to work with national agencies such as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), as well as local government units and development partners, to help close remaining gaps and ensure that digital progress reaches every Filipino, wherever they are.
