While Economic Affairs Minister Micky Adriaansens did not fully address the details of the report, she confirmed her meeting with ASML CEO Peter Wennink in The Hague, emphasizing the ongoing nature of the talks.

Adriaansens expressed the government's interest in understanding ASML's growth plans and potential infrastructure challenges resulting from expansion.

She highlighted the importance of maintaining dialogue with ASML, as the company plays a significant role in the Dutch economy.

Wennink's previous remarks in January underscored ASML's reliance on skilled foreign labor, particularly amid political shifts following the 2023 elections. The outcome of these discussions will likely have implications not only for ASML but also for the broader semiconductor industry and the Dutch economy.
