HALF-NAKED WOMEN BLAST GERMANY’S ‘NEXT TOP MODEL’ FINAL

Half-naked women angry about the portrayal of females in the media protested outside the television studios where the final of hit show "Germany's Next Top Model" was being filmed on Thursday, Deutsche Presse-Agentur (dpa) reported.

Model Heidi Klum's casting show has tried to be more diverse this season with curvy, small and even transgender models taking part.

But demonstrators at ProSieben studios just outside Munich said the diversity drive was superficial. The protest included a banner reading: "No profit from the sexualization of women's bodies".

"We are a small group of women who want to show with our own bodies that the ideal woman's body propagated by Germany's Next Top Model is not correct," said protest organizer Eva Brunner, 24.
