On Sunday, Israel officially declared a state of war, authorizing "significant military actions" in response to Hamas's surprise attack on Saturday.
The Israeli military launched efforts to eliminate fighters who remained in southern towns and intensified its airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Israel also called for the interruption of power supply and the blockage of food shipments to Gaza. The death toll has surpassed 1,200, with thousands injured on both sides.
The United Nations (UN) reported that over 123,000 Gazans are now displaced, while at least 77 Israeli soldiers have lost their lives, and a total of 130 Israelis are being held as prisoners in Gaza.
