According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), Jersey Mike's has overtaken Chick-fil-A as the highest-rated quick-service restaurant brand in the United States, Brandon Champion reported for MLive.com.

Chick-fil-A had held the top spot for 11 consecutive years, but the latest survey of 16,464 consumers placed Jersey Mike's first overall.

Respondents praised Jersey Mike's for its freshness, menu variety and value.

Chick-fil-A remained the highest-rated chain in the chicken category, outperforming KFC, Raising Cane's, Wingstop and Popeyes.

The report noted that Jersey Mike's added 238 new locations in 2025 and generated $4.2 billion in systemwide sales while maintaining strong customer satisfaction scores.

Other highly rated quick-service restaurants included Jimmy John's and Panda Express, tied for third place; KFC, Papa John's and Domino's, tied for fourth; Raising Cane's, Starbucks and Subway, tied for fifth; and Burger King, Dunkin' and Little Caesars, tied for sixth.

The report credited Jersey Mike's continued growth and brand consistency, including marketing campaigns featuring actor Danny DeVito, despite challenges facing the restaurant industry from rising operating costs and shifting consumer preferences.
