Ranju Das, the athletic-apparel company's first chief AI and technology officer, has left the company less than a year after joining, according to reports cited by Fortune Tech .
Das joined Lululemon in September 2025 to lead the company's technology organization and accelerate its enterprise data, technology and AI strategy.
Before joining Lululemon, he had more than 20 years of experience in technology, including leadership roles at Amazon AI Services and OptumLabs, as well as serving as CEO of Swan AI Studios.
Lululemon's own leadership page confirms that Das joined the company in 2025 to lead its technology and AI strategy.
His departure comes as companies continue to debate whether dedicated chief AI officer positions are necessary or whether AI should instead be integrated throughout existing technology and business functions.
