Manila Public Information chief, Julius Leonen, said Domagoso is tagged as recovered by the Sta. Ana Hospital, according to a PNA report.
“Around 9 a.m. ang discharge, 11th day po ngayon from illness/hospitalization, and 5th day din ngayon na wala sintomas (today is the 11th day of his hospitalization/illness, and the fifth day that he no longer has symptoms),” Leonen said in his message.
On August 15, Domagoso said he tested positive for COVID-19 and was immediately admitted to the Sta. Ana Hospital. This was a week after Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan also tested positive for the deadly virus. Pangan was discharged from the hospital on August 19.
From the hospital, Domagoso will still self-isolate for about three more days, Leonen said.
As of noon Wednesday, the local government of Manila reported 242 new cases of COVID-19 bringing to 1,578 the total number of active cases in the city. The city government also recorded 227 new recoveries, increasing its tally to 71,248. However, two new deaths were recorded, bringing the city’s COVID-19 death toll to 1,398.
