This surpasses Tesla's models, which have a range of less than 380 miles, as reported by Michelle Toh for CNN.
The German automaker's Concept CLA Class, revealed at the IAA Mobility auto show in Munich, consists of four new models: a sedan, a station wagon, and two SUVs. The company has not specified the exact production timeline for these vehicles.
Each of these vehicles will have a range of more than 750 kilometers (466 miles), in contrast to Tesla's Model 3 and Model S, which have ranges of just under 375 miles on a single charge.
At the same event, BMW also made an impact by unveiling a new electric vehicle (EV) with an extended range and faster charging capabilities.
This highlights German automakers' efforts to compete with the growing EV market.
Major European carmakers such as Volkswagen and Renault are facing increased competition from Chinese rivals in the lower-cost EV segment, while Tesla aims to establish Europe's largest car plant near Berlin.
BMW's Vision Neue Klasse vehicle, still in the concept stage, utilizes newly developed battery cells capable of storing over 20% more energy than the company's previous models.
This results in improved charging speed and range, up to 30% better than the brand's previous offerings.
