The fastest-growing retailer in the United States in 2025 was not Costco or Walmart but Chinese lifestyle retailer Miniso, according to data cited by the National Retail Federation (NRF).

Miniso recorded approximately 53% sales growth in the U.S. in 2025, putting it ahead of second-ranked Dick's Sporting Goods, Danielle Chemtob reported for Forbes Daily.

Miniso's popularity has grown as the company has expanded its selection of affordable lifestyle products, including viral blind boxes and licensed collections featuring franchises such as Minecraft and My Little Pony.

The company has continued expanding its U.S. footprint, with more than 300 stores in the country. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ye Guofu has an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion.
