MOSQUE EXPLOSION KILLS 12

At least 12 people died and 28 others were injured Friday in a fire caused by a gas pipeline explosion at a mosque outside Dhaka, a local official said Saturday.

Many of the injured were in critical condition, said Samanta Lal Sen, coordinator of Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The explosion at the Baitus Salam Mosque in Narayanganj occurred after the night.
