Musk Babbles Again, Hits Biden For Turning U.S. into A Venezuela

Elon Musk claims the cost of living crisis under Joe Biden could get so bad the US could turn into Venezuela and compared the President to Anchorman's Ron Burgundy for relying heavily on a teleprompter, Jack Newman reported for UK’s MailOnline.

The Tesla CEO, who is in the midst of a $44-billion takeover bid for Twitter, said he has previously voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, but savaged the current administration, saying Donald Trump's presidency was more effective at getting things done.
Critics have described Musk as a younger Donald Trump who is a media hog and basks in being the center of the social media limelight. He is terribly anti-union and ranks only No. 181 on the list of top US taxpayers despite being described as the world’s wealthiest man due to his shares in the overvalued Tesla.
“The real president is whoever controls the teleprompter. The path to power is the path to the teleprompter,” he said.
The world's richest man then made reference to Will Ferrell's Anchorman character Ron Burgundy who read verbatim what was written on his teleprompter, causing him to lose his job. Musk is also notorious for smoking marijuana anytime he pleases.
In China, he was forced to apologize publicly for the glitches of Tesla cars. His rivals say Musk is set to abandon his bid for Twitter after insulting the company’s top executives and issues tweets that cause its stock price to decline.
“This administration doesn't seem to get a lot done. The Trump administration, leaving Trump aside, there were a lot of people in the administration who were effective at getting things done,” he argued.
Musk added that the Democrats are “overly controlled by the unions and by the trial lawyers, particularly the class action lawyers,” while Republicans are influenced by “corporate evil and religious zealotry.”
