NEW DRAG-SHOW BAR TRIES TO REVIVE BANGKOK’S NIGHTLIFE

After months of hiatus caused by COVID-19 restrictions, Bangkok's vibrant nightlife scene is starting to come alive once again, and a number of entrepreneurs have seized the opportunity to launch new ventures.

One of these is Thailand’s drag darling Pangina Heals (Pan Pan Narkprasert), who has opened House of Heals, a nightclub to showcase drag artists, comedians and musicians, the Spanish news agency EFE reported.

The 32-year-old co-host of “Drag Race Thailand,” a local version of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” opened the club both to achieve her lifelong dream of owning her own venue and sending a message of hope to those who have been depressed by the pandemic.

Thai drag queen Meanie Minaj performed on at the House of Heals drag show bar on September 9, 2020, along with drag queens Anne May Wong, Kandy Zyanide and, of course, Pangina Heals.
