NOW Corp H1 Net Income Up

Broadband provider NOW Corp. grew its net income by more than half in the first semester and looks to grow the business further in the remaining months of the year.

In its financial report, NOW said its profit surged by 58% to P8.45 million in the first half, from P5.35 million a year ago.

NOW said its revenue dropped by eight percent to P92.1 million, although this was offset by a 22 percent decline in expenses to P46.33 million.

The bulk of revenue came from the delivery of broadband services at P46.47 million. Also, it gained contributions from its management services at P34.62 million; manpower augmentation, at P9.79 million; and installation of software, at P1.22 million.
