NTT Docomo's 5G Network Loses Internet Access For An Hour

Some NTT Docomo Inc. users in Japan were unable to access the internet for roughly an hour on the evening of July 7, according to Mihoko Kato of Mainichi Japan.

According to NTT Docomo, the outage happened about 6:15 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. Subscribers of the company's fifth-generation (5G) cellular service in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Tokai, and Hokuriku had connectivity issues.
The telecom company apologized on its website and is presumably investigating the cause of the outage. However, the business was unable to put cause to the glitch that affected thousands of users.
