Speaking during the 125th anniversary of the First Philippine Republic in Barasoain Church in Malolos City, Bulacan, President Marcos emphasized the unconquerable nature of the territory defended by the nation's forefathers.


President Marcos stated that, in the ongoing fight for freedom, Filipinos face both shocking and subtle threats, and the spirit of resistance continues.

The First Philippine Republic was established in Malolos, Bulacan, during the Philippine Revolution against Spanish colonizers, succeeding the Revolutionary Government of the Philippines in 1899.
