PITX Prepares For A Merry Holiday Rush: Welcoming 2.6 Million Travelers With Enhanced Services

As the holiday season unfolds, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) is set to become a bustling epicenter, poised to welcome an estimated 2.6 million passengers during the Christmas rush from December 15, 2023, to January 3, 2024.

In anticipation of the surge in travelers, PITX has left no stone unturned in ensuring a seamless and memorable journey for all.


Jason Salvador, PITX Corporate Affairs and Government Relations Head, expressed the terminal's commitment to providing an efficient and enjoyable travel experience.


"By working in harmony with transportation operators, government authorities, and the general public, PITX aims to create a seamless and memorable journey during this festive season," said Salvador.



PITX has taken a proactive stance in collaborating with transportation operators to enhance the availability of buses, shuttles, and other public transportation options during the peak period.


The goal is to minimize waiting times and ensure smooth travel experiences for passengers.



Safety and security are paramount, with the collaboration with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) ensuring that all Public Utility Vehicles (PUVs) undergo rigorous roadworthiness inspections.


Security measures include a heightened police presence, with Philippine National Police (PNP) augmentation and additional K9 units for luggage inspection.

PITX is keeping passengers well-informed through various channels, including their website, social media channels, and designated information counters within the terminal. Dedicated staff members will be available to offer assistance and address any queries or concerns from travelers.


Urging passengers to plan ahead, PITX advises travelers to allocate sufficient time for check-in and boarding processes, emphasizing the importance of arriving at the terminal ahead of schedule to avoid delays.
