Prime Video has continued reshaping its original programming slate, canceling four series during the first half of 2026 while renewing eight others, according to TheWrap.

Among the platform's previous cancellations are Jack Ryan, Countdown and The Wheel of Time.
According to the report, Jack Ryan concluded after completing its planned creative storyline, while Countdown ended on a cliffhanger that will remain unresolved. The Wheel of Time was reportedly canceled because of high production costs relative to its audience.
Prime Video has established itself as a major streaming destination for action and romance series, with titles including Off Campus, Every Year After, Reacher and Cross drawing strong viewership.
The report added that three of the eight renewed series received renewal orders before their premiere episodes were released.
