The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) index declined some more as investors await better economic indicators to close at 7,280.57 points, down by 18.77 points or 0.26 percent.

Value turnover was a hefty P22.06 billion following the listing of the follow-on-offering of Keepers Holdings, a liquor distribution firm of tycoon Lucio Co. which closed 19 centavos higher than its offer price.
The services and the property sub-indices posted gains of 0.08 percent and 0.35 percent respectively while the financials lost 0.66 percent, industrials by 0.03 percent, holding firms by 0.66 percent, and mining and oil by 2.84 percent.
Converge was the most active stock with a turnover of P1.3 billion as it went down by P1.05 or 3.25 percent to P31.25, while Keepers ended the day at P1.69 with trades of P1.1 billion. Monde was up by 24 centavos to P18.08 while Globe surged by P190 or 5.52 percent to P3,630 on news of its higher broadband revenues.
Synergy Grid declined by 4.42 percent or 68 centavos to close at P14.70 with trades of P344 million. Market bellwether SM Investments was unchanged at P975 while AllDay went down by 3 centavos to P0.74.
Metrobank and BDO Unibank respectively closed at P50.10, down by 70 centavos and P125.60, down by P2.40. Losers dominated gainers, 127-66 with 49 shares unchanged.
