PSE ROARS TO LIFE SOME MORE

The Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) roared to life some more, doubling up its increase today in much robust trade that showed the optimism of investors that the market has shrugged the tentativeness that characterized the trades before due to the Covid 19 pandemic.


Rising by 220.48 points on across-the-board buying, the PSE index closed at 6,245.65 points ,or up 3.66 percent with value turnover of P8.24 billion showing that investors have welcomed the baby steps towards normalcy with 143 gainers, 59 losers and 44 shares unchanged

GTCap was the most active stock with total transactions of P636.31 million with its share price closing P14 higher to P385 while BDO Unibank has gained back its losses , rising by P4.40 to close at P102.40 per share on a value turnover of P359 million.


Jollibee Foods again went up today closing at P130 , up by 6.40 on transaction of P367.9 million.

The other gainers were Security Bank, Rizal Commercial Bank, Ayala Land and SM Prime.
