Reports: Putin's Mistress, Alina Kabaeva, Expecting A Baby Girl

Vladimir Putin is “expecting a daughter” with his ex-gymnast “lover” Alina Kabaeva despite the Russian President claiming he “has enough children as it is,” Kaya Terry reported for UK’s MailOnline.

The 69-year-old Kremlin leader is thought to already have two secret sons with the Olympic gold-medal-winning rhythmic gymnast, once dubbed "Russia's most flexible woman."

Kabaeva was pictured pregnant in 2015, and a report later claimed a boy was born in secret in Switzerland the same year, according to a source linked to the obstetrician who was present at the birth.

Meanwhile, the gymnasts' second baby was born in Moscow in 2019, with the same specialist flying to Russia for the birth, according to Swiss broadsheet Sonntagszeitung.

Putin, who turns 70 this year, has denied having an affair with the 39-year-old since 2007. He has kept his supposed secret family hidden from voters and has not attended either of the births.

Putin has two daughters with his legitimate wife and another with a worker in St. Petersburg.

According to the General SVR Telegram channel, an online account run by Kremlin insiders, the couple is now expecting a baby girl. “We have already reported that Alina Kabaeva, the cohabitant of the President of Russia, is pregnant,” the post said.

"Yesterday, the sex of the unborn child became known - this is a girl.”

The Russian leader, however, was alleged to be unimpressed, as the article went on to add the news "did not at all please the future father and president of Russia," reported the UK's The Sun. According to the same article, when Putin was informed of the news, he grumbled, 'I have enough children as it is, and had enough daughters long ago.'
