Russia has issued a demand for Ukraine to surrender all individuals associated with terrorist activities carried out in Russia, including the head of Ukraine's SBU Security Service, Ron Popeski reported for Reuters.

In response, the SBU swiftly dismissed Russia's demand as "pointless," highlighting that the Russian Foreign Ministry seemed to have overlooked the fact that Russian leader Vladimir Putin is the subject of an international arrest warrant.
The Russian statement vaguely referenced a recent mass shooting at a concert hall near Moscow, where 144 individuals lost their lives.
However, it also drew attention to Russia's alleged actions, including the summary execution of wounded or surrendered Ukrainian combatants and civilians following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The SBU emphasized the existence of an arrest warrant against Putin issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in connection with the alleged transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia, asserting that "the tribunal in The Hague is waiting for him."
Additionally, Ukraine has previously conducted trials resulting in convictions of numerous Russian officers and soldiers for war crimes.
