Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the world was "millimeters away from catastrophe" due to Israel’s daily strikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, according to Russia’s RIA state news agency, Reuters, and Haaretz's Rawan Suleiman.

Haaretz also reported that Iran is prepared to close the Strait of Hormuz—blocking oil exports from the Persian Gulf—if war escalates. An Iranian official told the Qatari outlet Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that the strait is a critical channel for Gulf oil exports.

The same official said the Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities did not cause significant damage, and that the Fordow facility remains operational.

He also warned that active U.S. military involvement could ignite the entire region, claiming that regional powers have assured Tehran they will not allow American forces to use their bases to attack Iran.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the loss of one of its sophisticated drones over Iranian airspace. The Wall Street Journal also reported that Israel's stockpile of Arrow interceptor missiles is running low.
