Several US-sanctioned vessels appear to have resumed transit through the Strait of Hormuz, according to ship-tracking data cited by Victoria Beaule for ABC News.

The tanker Rich Starry was tracked moving from the Persian Gulf into the Gulf of Oman, though it later appeared to pause near the strait’s eastern exit.

Other vessels, including the Murlikishan, were also observed transiting the area. Data from maritime tracking firm MarineTraffic and analysis by Windward suggest cautious movement as tensions remain high.

The strait is a critical global oil chokepoint, and disruptions there can significantly impact energy markets and shipping routes.
