Senate Chief: U.S. Providing Israel With All The Assistance Required

US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stated that senators received briefings from senior State Department and Pentagon officials, assuring them that the US is providing Israel with "everything they need," as reported by the Associated Press (AP)

Schumer, in a statement following an unclassified briefing on Sunday evening, disclosed that he had asked representatives of the Defense Department whether they were providing Israel with all necessary support.

He expressed satisfaction that they confirmed their support and the surge of assistance.

He also inquired about any denied requests from Israel, to which they responded in the negative. Schumer reiterated the Senate's readiness to meet any additional needs Israel may have and urged the authorities to ensure Israel's comprehensive protection.
