ServiceNow Nears $7 Billion Deal for Armis

ServiceNow Inc. is in advanced talks to buy cybersecurity startup Armis in a deal that could be valued at as much as $7 billion and would represent the tech company’s largest acquisition to date, Andrew Martin, Ryan Gould, and Brody Ford reported for Bloomberg News.

A deal could be announced in the coming days, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because the discussions are private.
While talks are advanced, they could still fall apart or another bidder could emerge, the people said.
Shares of ServiceNow closed down about 0.3% in New York trading at one point, giving the Santa Clara, California-based company a market value of roughly $179.5 billion.
Founded by veterans of Israeli military cyberintelligence, Armis, based in San Francisco, specializes in identifying and tracking security threats across connected devices, serving industries such as healthcare, financial services, and defense.
