This initiative aims to reduce the center's reliance on the community's power supply, lower power costs, and decrease carbon emissions.
The solar installation consists of 117 panels, equivalent to 55,370 watts on the roof deck of the 30,000 square meter distribution center. The company plans to complete the second phase of the project, adding an additional 100,000 watts by December 2023.

The solar panels are designed to power the center's back offices and any excess electricity generated is used by the 24/7 operational warehouse.
Additionally, Alfamart enhances its sustainability efforts by using electric forklifts and electric movers in its operations across its four distribution centers in Bulacan, Cavite, Pampanga, and Laguna.
These initiatives contribute to the company's goal of operating sustainably and responsibly.
