Trump Slams Jews For Not Praising Him, Lacking 'Loyalty'

Defeated US President Donald Trump hit out at “Jewish leaders” for a “lack of loyalty” to him in a post on Truth Social on Friday morning, saying “they should be ashamed of themselves,” Oliver O’Connell reported for The Independent.

Posting a link to an article in The Gateway Pundit by Wayne Allyn Root, defending him from the outrage sparked by his dinner at Mar-a-Lago with antisemitic rapper Kanye West and white nationalist Nick Fuentes, Trump thanked the author, but later on praised himself for being the greatest gift to Jews, present and future, to the consternation of observers.

He wrote: “Thank you Wayne – You are great but how quickly Jewish Leaders forgot that I was the best, by far, President for Israel. They should be ashamed of themselves. This lack of loyalty to their greatest friends and allies is why large numbers in Congress, and so many others, have stopped giving support to Israel.”

But Jewish groups quickly blasted Trump for his refusal to condemn antisemitism and savaged him for his atrocious claim that all the Jews on the planet owe him a debt of gratitude for being their defender and savior.

“We strongly condemn the virulent antisemitism of Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, and call on all political leaders, like Trump, to reject their messages of hate and refuse to meet with them,” Matt Brooks, chief executive of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC), said in a statement just days after Trump addressed a meeting of the group.

The RJC also retweeted a message from former US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman telling Trump his meeting with both the antisemitic Ye and Nick Fuentes was “unacceptable.”

Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), called Trump’s Mar-a-Lago meeting “appalling.” Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, who is to return as prime minister and sure to bring his laundry to the White House, said Sunday he’s waiting for Trump to stand up and condemn antisemitism and the antisemites he dined with, Mary Papenfuss reported for HuffPost.
