Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reported a 35% jump in first-quarter revenue, underscoring continued strong demand for AI-related chips, according to Yahoo Finance.

Revenue for the January–March period reached 1.13 trillion New Taiwan dollars (about $35.7 billion), exceeding expectations.
March revenue alone rose 31% from February and 45% compared with a year earlier.
The results highlight the sustained momentum of the global AI buildout, with chip demand remaining robust. Research firm Gartner projects global semiconductor spending will hit $1.3 trillion in 2026, marking the fastest growth in decades.
