According to a Federal Register notice, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security added 407 product codes to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, identifying goods that will now be subject to the higher duties on their steel and aluminum content.

The non-steel and non-aluminum content of those products will also face the tariff rates imposed by President Trump on goods from certain countries, the notice said. The expanded levies took effect August 18.
